Workout apps to keep you moving during quarantine

You choose the duration and they provide plans for workouts, strength training, stretching, cardio, yoga, and a lot more. Have a look at the list below and give it a try!

1. Daily Yoga

Daily Yoga is a workout app that offers more than 100 yoga and meditation classes from beginner to  advanced levels. For the ones who are new to the moves and positions, there are friendly tutorials to help you.

The purpose of the app is to help people find a better self, work both on your mind and body health. This is a good app to start exercising and build mindfulness about your body before getting to other workout apps.

2. Nike Training Club

Nike Training club is an app developed by Nike to encourage work out sessions, especially at home. You get access to four 4–6 week training plans to do at the comfort of your home. You can set a routine that fits you and your schedule so that you can reach your goals!

If you don’t have goals, it’s not a problem: you can join challenges and even challenge your friends to keep you motivated.

3. Asana Rebel

If you’re not a gym person, Asana Rebel won’t judge you at all. In fact, that’s the purpose of this app: to introduce new ways to workout by mixing Yoga and strength exercises. The good part is that you will never get sick of this app, since everyday you’ll learn something new.

For the ones who want even more support in the beginning, Asana Rebel’s profile on Instagram can act as a support to keep you working out every day. Worths the bytes.

4. Sworkit

It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an athlete, Sworkit’s promise is to act as your mobile personal trainer. You can customize your training sessions according to your needs and build your own schedule.

The user interface is really simple to interact with, and you can chose if want to do a strength, stretching or a cardio session. If you are a beginner and don’t know how to do a specific exercise, there is also a support video to teach you how.

5. Freeletics

Freeletics is a free app that gathers lots of videos and challenges to bodybuilders who want to get fast results by working out indoors and outdoors. Some reviewers describe the training as “too intense”, so if you’re the kind of person that likes immediate results, perhaps you can achieve them faster with Freeletics.

An advice for the beginners: start with another app to learn the exercises before joining Freeletics, because trainings are too intensive and you need to know how to perform an exercise.
