To party until the end of the night.
1. Kapital Madrid
7 floors. Yes, you just read that correctly, 7 floors! Kapital Madrid is, as the name says so, the night’s capital in the city. One of the biggest nightclubs in Madrid as well, with its 7 floors you’ll be able to listen to every musical style there is. It is a strategic place, not to miss without any excuse because you could meet other Erasmus’s students and also tourists coming from all around the world. The building is located in the heart of the city, also in the same quarter you’ll be able to find 3 of the most beautiful museums in the country.
2. Joy Eslava
Founded in 1871, the place was a music-hall, then it became a theatre and afterwards a cabaret until 1981, date in which it was transformed into a nightclub. Located two steps away from the Plaza del Sol, Joy Eslava proposes 2 different musical ambiances and many incredible parties are organised here. The prices of the entrance and the beverages aren’t always very accessible but it is totally worth it, specially thanks to its atypical decoration.
3. Teatro Barceló
The old Pacha is one of the most renowned nightclubs in Madrid since the 1980’s. There’s music going from the latest hits to the Rumba or the Flamenco. The Teatro Barceló is very attractive as well thanks to its particular decoration and the contrast between the main room, enlightened by blue neon electric light, and the other hall, dominated by an intense red light.
4. La Posada de las Animas
A nightclub known (or recognised) by its style (rather chic and classy) and its particular ambiance. We love to gather there to chat and meet other people, especially Madrid’s people. La Posada is notable due to the changes that the decoration undergoes according to the season. It is a must-go in Madrid and very well-known across the country.
5. Opium Madrid
Little brother of the famous nightclub in Barcelona that carries the same name, Opium keeps fighting to become the place to be of the capital. Located right next to the Paseo de la Castellana, you’ll find mostly house and electro music, and with its trendy and chill style it attracts all the people of the city.
