Valencia, also known as the Capital of the Turia river and bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, is considered the third most important city of Spain.  When it comes to ‘gram-worthy places, there are endless spots in Valencia, from cute cafés to natural reserves. In this article, we have gathered the top 10 places where you won’t be able to resist a shot!

1. L’Albufera

Only 10 minutes away from the city, you’ll find this gem, a natural reserve, which extends over 21 hectares and has the largest natural lake in Spain. There, you’ll find a wide range of endangered species and a bird observatory. A great plan is to visit the park during the day and hop on a boat to enjoy a magic sunset.  How to get there? 2. El Saler

Located right next to L’Albufera, you’ll find the seaside town of El Saler. It’s home to the best beaches in Valencia, not so crowded and surrounded by nature. It is also an ideal place for biking, strolling, jogging and skating, as there’s a wide path all along the beach. 3. Jardín Botánico

If you love plants and trees you have to visit the Jardín Botánico of the Universitat de Valencia. It has a big collection of Palm trees and tropical plants, which will make your feed look incredible! It is also a very peaceful place and you get free entrance if you’re a student! How to get there? 4. La Marina de Valencia

It is one of the newest hot spots in town. This place is perfect for a stroll, a drink and an incredible shot! If you’re into the blue colours, go during the day and a love a sunset palette, do not hesitate to visit this area during sunrise or sunset. 5. La Fábrica de Hielo

Who doesn’t love a beautiful café? If you’re into charming and unique spaces, this is your place! Not only it has an incredible atmosphere but also a great social and event calendar, with heaps of exhibitions, live music, markets, etc. It can also be a place to meet up with your classmates to work on group projects of study sessions. 6. Patacona Beach

If you don’t feel like going to El Saler, Patacona Beach is your go-to, as it is the most beautiful beach in the city. It has a broad walkway and when the weather starts to get better, the beach is filled with the so-called chiringuitos! How to get there? Check here!

7. La más bonita

Right in this beach, you’ll find another incredible café called La más bonita, which in Spanish means” the most beautiful”.  This place is definitely for the foodies! With a Mediterranean vibe and a white and blue decoration, you can order a piece of cake and get the perfect picture!

8. Port Saplaya

If you’re looking for somewhere special, head to Port Saplaya, a.k.a the small Venezia. This small fisherman’s town, which is only 5 minutes away from the city, is known for its cute colourful houses and its water channels. 9. El Carmen
