Being an Operations Research Analyst may not seem the most attractive job title around, however, you can expect it to be very challenging and of great need for companies. A professional in this job is expected to use advanced mathematical and analytical methods to investigate complex issues, mostly in logistics and scheduling (e.g. guarantee the maximum quality of services while using as little resources as possible) and to help decision making. The need for Operation Research Analysts is expected to grow 27% in the next 7 years and to earn you around 82,000€ every year (in Germany).
