This is the central library of University Pompeu Fabra since 1999. Such an astonishing building provides students in Barcelona, regardless of whether they study at University Pompeu Fabra or not, with the opportunity to study in a quiet and beautiful environment crammed with history. The building, first conceived as the water tower for Ciutadella Park, was designed in 1874 by Josep Fontserè. Antoni Gaudi himself had a take on the design as a student of architecture. It is ideally close to several cultural and innovative facilities, such as the National Theatre of Catalunya, the Auditorium, the Encants market or the technological district 22@.
The Cinema Library (Biblioteca del Cinema)
Inside La Filmoteca de Catalunya, in the Raval Neighborhood (Plaça de Salvador Seguí, 1-9). Not only can you access and lend documents, books, films and cinematographic files, but also enjoy a less crowded and relaxed area of study in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Barcelona. It is close to La Rambla de les Flors and the famous and fancy opera house known as Liceu.

El Petit Príncep
The amazing breakfast and the wide range of pastries offered by this little cafeteria are a great excuse for you to get out of bed, take your laptop, and ease gradually into your working mode from one of their terrace or indoor tables. It is located in Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes, 677, on the Eixample.
Located in Calle Londres, 87, Bitte is a cafeteria decorated as a botanical garden, which lends an air of nature and relax to the room. If you ever feel in need of a calmed environment with excellent service during exams period, this is the place to go. They even have a specific area for you to plug in your computer, so you don’t have to worry about running out of battery!
