If you’re heading to Lisbon to study at NOVA University, we’ve collected all you need to know about the university.

NOVA University of Lisbon

UNL (Universidade NOVA de Lisboa) is the NOVA University of Lisbon. The youngest of Lisbon’s state universities, NOVA is organised into several different autonomous faculties, amongst which are the Faculty of Science and Technology, Human and Social Sciences, NOVA Medical School, and its most famous one, the NOVA School of Business and Economics.

Mostly autonomous, NOVA SBE is NOVA University of Lisbon’s most popular faculty and the “NOVA SBE” is a rebranding and new official name of the Faculty. The university is a creative, rigorous and diverse place of learning. Here, young people from around the world develop key skills in.

When studying at NOVA, you’ll be working alongside people from all around the world, with students from over 60 countries, as the faculty is one of the country’s top destinations for international students. With all its courses taught in English, the school has more than 150 exchange agreements with universities in 50 countries, and is considered to be amongst the top 30 business schools in Europe.

To get to NOVA, you can either take the metro’s blue or red lines to “São Sebastião”, or one of many buses servicing the area (702, 713, 751, 756)
