Student Accommodation in Amsterdam

Vondelpark Amsterdam
‘Het Vondelpark’ is the most famous park in Amsterdam. It includes an open-air theaters, with regular theatrical and musical performances in summer.

Housing in Amsterdam can be hard to find – at Uniplaces we know this better than anybody. That’s why we are so happy to have 60 new, high quality, and most of all affordable rooms near the city centre – just a small bike ride away from the Vondelpark.

We asked our partners, Temporeel Real Estate, why they think it is important for international students to come to Amsterdam:

‘‘Amsterdam is a magical city for young people. The local government, the universities, and the local property managers all work hard to make life for international students as comfortable as possible. Living in Amsterdam will free your mind. The multicultural environment and the central location in Europe will open you up to the world. At Temporeel, we actively want to contribute to the student experience and give you the opportunity to enjoy the city to its fullest!’’

Are you an explorer? Take a boat and float your way through the canals! Do you enjoy culture? Amsterdam has some of the greatest museums in the world: surely visit the Van Gogh museum, and the Rijksmuseum. Otherwise, just stroll past the countless cheese shops, flower markets, cafes and, of course, the signature ‘coffeeshops’ – where people tend to enjoy other things than coffee..

Finally, don’t forget to check out the music scene. Paradiso is one of the greatest concert venues we’ve ever been. Moreover, the Netherlands is one of the leading countries when it comes down to electronic music. Every weekend you’ll find some of the best DJs in the world playing in the clubs around the city. A personal favorite of the Dutch team @ Uniplaces is the Melkweg!

Uniplaces welcomes you to Amsterdam. Don’t forget to check out ESN VU Amsterdam who organize some of the best welcome events for international students – they will guarantee you get off to a good start.
