Have you ever wished you could just snap your fingers and solve all your problems? I know I do. As students we are haunted with deadlines and obligations, and time just seems to always be slipping through our fingers. But what if we could change that? What if we could have superpowers? Here are 9 superpowers every student should have:
University years are full of classes, which translates into tons of homework. Paper after paper, the pile starts growing. How great would it be if you could do it all in a blink of an eye?
Knowing what to cook every night is always a challenge. Your food storage is always empty and you grow tired of always eating pasta and canned food. You start craving your mum’s lasagna, and even that soup you don’t like that much seems appealing. But what if you could make food simply appear?
Decisions are hard to make and there are so many of them to do. There are places to go, activities to do, and classes to attend. We constantly wish we could just snap our fingers and quickly land wherever we want to be. It would definitely beat having to catch the bus every day and have it miserably close right in our face.
Every morning students face a tough decision: sleep 30 more minutes and wear sweatpants for the day or do the daily beauty routine. Most times the first option wins and you end up with a hobo, I’m-too-lazy-to-care sort of look. What if you could look good and sleep in?
It’s safe to say that no one likes cleaning. The mess becomes part of every student’s life. We only consider doing laundry when “the chair” is close to hitting the ceiling and you’re seriously thinking about wearing your sheets as a piece of garment.
Parties are a big part of university life, which means hangovers are too. We get it; the beer is cheap, the music is good, but the day after is not. So imagine if you never had to go through the bad part ever again.
Teachers are strange creatures with mood swings. Pleasing them is almost impossible. When you think you got it, you really didn’t. This would no longer be a problem if you could just know what’s on their mind.
Like modern vampires, students barely sleep. Between classes and deadlines, the recommended 8 hours of sleep become a rare event, almost like a solar eclipse. Imagine if you never had to sleep and never got tired.
Sometimes 24 hours isn’t enough. The years you spend at university are the best years of your life, but the problem is they go by so fast. All we want is to stop the clock and live the student life a little longer.
