Being a student in a new city is always difficult. You need time to discover it and even more time to find your comfort place. Do you feel like having a beer before lunch? Good mediterranean food with a glass of wine? A beer before a night out? We know the places! Here are the best bars in Valencia for students:
This is a fantastic place if you are looking for a place with good beers, good wines and a unique location. It’s next to the narrowest building in Europe and the Church of Santa Catalina. A unique place where you can also have your typical tapas.
Ca Ninetta is in Xúquer, a very famous nightlife area, and also perfect to have dinner. You will find a lot of different options, but we recommend Ca Ninetta because of their cheap, freshly made pizzas, as well as their wine and beer. The perfect mix of Spanish and Italian traditions!
This is the perfect bar to have brunch and a few cocktails before dinner. It’s also great for a simple cup of coffee and a good read. It’s a must-visit in Valencia for quality food and also a nice spot to relax.
The Mercat of Tapineria changes every two weeks: there are new shops and exhibitions twice a month. Wherever you go there will be something new, but its restaurant is fixed. This is the place to go if you want to discover Mediterranean cuisine!
Blasco Ibañez is the area surrounding the two University of Valencia campuses, and where you will find plenty of bars: cheap and full of students like you. We recommend trying the Cedro area, perfect for a beer — try the local Turia Märzen beer, most likely the oldest and most drank Valencian beer — and to go out after. You’ll love the avenue and you will discover new places every week!
